Equality Scholarship

Established by Dr. John Cowles, Dr. Ric Underhile and Art Johnson, the purpose of the Equality Scholarship is to provide financial support to underrepresented students who face financial barriers to college. Students with disabilities or who are African American, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, multi-racial, and/or gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender are encouraged to apply. Determination of the award is based on academic standing and financial need.

Eligibility requirements include:
• 2.0 Undergraduate or High School GPA based on a 4.0 scale and earned in the most recent semester or term of attendance (Students who have earned a GED may satisfy this requirement by submitting an essay that describes their academic goals.
• Must enroll for at least 6 credit hours
