Equality Scholarship

Scholarship recipients will be selected using the following criteria: Established by Dr. John Cowles, Dr. Ric Underhile and Art Johnson, the purpose of the Equality Scholarship is to provide financial support to students who have faced significant financial, social, or educational barriers to pursuing higher education. The scholarship seeks to expand access to college for students who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming obstacles to academic success.
Eligibility requirements include:
• Minimum 2.0 undergraduate or high school GPA on a 4.0 scale earned in the most recent term of attendance (students who have earned a GED may satisfy this requirement by submitting an essay describing their academic goals).
• Must enroll for at least 6 credit hours.
