Pat Oumedian Innovative Learning Nursing Fund

This fund was established by Armen Oumedian (GRJC 43?) in the honor of his wife, Pat Oumedian. Armen and Pat Oumedian have been long time supporters of GRCC and understand the need for ever changing learning in the scope of Nursing in Health Care to support current and future West Michigan residents.

This fund was established to support the swiftly changing curriculum development need of the Nursing Program at GRCC. The fund will allow the GRCC Nursing Program to continue to offer innovative ways of learning to support the students enrolled in this program. Revenue donated to this fund will be used (but not limited to) equipment, curriculum development, and future learning opportunities for faculty/staff needed within the GRCC Nursing Department.

This fund is available to current full-time GRCC Nursing faculty/staff. GRCC Nursing faculty/staff will be asked to write an essay explaining why they deserve to receive this award and/or for what innovative project they would like to see supported by this fund in the scope of their teaching in the Nursing Program. Recipients will be asked to provide a detailed report about the end result for their project and how it affected their teaching at GRCC to the fund committee.
