Schwanda Family Scholarship

Grace Schwanda is a former music faculty at Grand Rapids Community College and established this scholarship for Grand Rapids Community College students with her family. Awards will be made to students with a physical impairment which can be defined as someone who is visually impaired or has any other type of physical impairment (included by not limited to; MS, visual impairment, mobility issues, feeding tubes, bilateral hearing loss, speech impairments, and Type 1 diabetes). A student must be enrolled in at least six credits and have financial need as defined by the FAFSA. First preference will be given to a student pursuing a Music degree, second preference will be given to a student pursuing an Exercise Science degree and third preference will be given to a student pursuing an Educ_ation degree.
