UFP Scholarship

Formally Stephenson & Lawyer Scholarship

This scholarship was founded by Mr. Stephenson & Mr. Lawyer, who were influential members in the Grand Rapids business community since the 1930’s. This scholarship encourages UFP Technologies, Inc. (Formerly Stephenson and Lawyer) employees and their dependents to reach their educational goals. In 2008, the company became UFP Technologies. Scholarships will be available to a UFP employee or their dependents who have achieved a minimum a 2.0 high school GPA or 2.5 college GPA. Preference will be given to a UFP employee or their dependents, if no one applies, other Grand Rapid Community College students studying in the Manufacturing and Applied Technology Program or the Math, Science and Engineering Program will be eligible.
