Xenophon Payne (Panopoulos) Scholarship

This fund was established by Lola Payne (Panopoulos), in memory of Xenophon Payne (Panopoulos), who was one of the first foreign students to attend GRJC in 1929. Xenophon attended GRJC during the depression before attending The University of Michigan. An award will be given to students who have displayed an interest in majoring in one or more foreign languages. This scholarship will be awarded to recipients who demonstrate financial need and a sincere desire to complete their educational training at GRCC
